How It Started
Every dangerous obsession
begins with one book.
It all started with a book. (Isn’t that how most dangerous obsessions begin?)
I don’t even remember the title—just that it was a shifter romance I stumbled across on the reading app Dream. One book turned into another, and then another, until I started noticing a pattern.
Same tropes. Same beats. Same endings.
And I thought...
The questions that changed everything
What if the Luna wasn’t chosen?
What if the rogue wasn’t the villain?
What if the woman wasn’t weak?
And Then I Started Writing
Just for fun.
Just for me.
That’s when I started writing. Just for fun. Just for me. The first book I wrote was Below the Crescent Moon, but before I finished it, another idea took hold—and The Last of the Moon Light Pack was born.
That’s the one that grabbed me by the throat.
I poured my soul into it in secret, not thinking it would ever see the light of day. It was just my little escape... until my husband caught me hoarding it on my laptop like a dragon with a treasure trove of plot twists.
After much prying—literally, because I wouldn’t let go of my laptop—he convinced me to show it to someone.
So I nervously sent it to my bestie, Jolene.
She devoured it.
And then demanded more.
Between her cheers and my husband Clay’s persistence, I finally got brave enough to post it on Dream.

A thousand people reading my words? Cue the jaw drop.
There Was No Turning Back
One story became
something much bigger.
After that, there was no turning back.
I researched everything I could about self-publishing, stumbled through a few costly mistakes—looking at you, bad editors—and eventually made my way to Amazon.
And eventually, I finally published my very first book baby, Below the Crescent Moon—the story that quietly started it all.
The words I still write by

Because that’s how this whole wild journey began.

What started as me secretly writing a shifter story on my laptop grew into something I never expected.
Bound in Ink is now home to my books, direct shop, Pack Library, new stories in progress, and a growing community of readers who apparently enjoy letting fictional characters destroy their sleep schedules as much as I do.
My stories are still built around the same thing that made me start writing in the first place: asking what happens when the story doesn’t go the way you expect.
